Mississippi National River & Recreation Area Information
Volunteer opportunities are available year round. You can choose to work with school programs, at the Visitor Center or assist with restoration projects. If you have a special project in mind, write or call, and we might be able to accommodate your idea.
If you would prefer to make a monetary donation to the park, the Mississippi River Fund would be happy to assist you.
You can learn new skills, stay involved in your community, teach others, meet new friends and visit amazing sites on America's greatest river- the Mississippi. Volunteers gain a lot from their experiences at the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area.
